Data Privacy Associate/Consultant (Mid-Senior Level)

Our client, a renowned global firm based in Dubai, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mid/Senior Level Consultant specializing in Data Privacy, Data Management, and AI Governance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of advising clients on a range of data and technology matters, including internal data transfers, AI, and regulatory compliance. This role requires in-depth knowledge of data protection laws in the Middle East and GDPR, as well as the ability to work effectively within a global data privacy and cyber team.

Key responsibilities:
• Provide expert advice to clients on data privacy, data management, and AI governance.
• Assist clients with internal data transfers and ensure compliance with AI and data regulations.
• Stay updated on data protection laws in the Middle East and GDPR, and apply this knowledge to client engagements.
• Advise regulatory bodies on data policy and contribute to the development of data protection frameworks.
• Collaborate with a global team to deliver comprehensive data privacy and cyber solutions to clients operating worldwide.
• Maintain and enhance professional qualifications related to data privacy.

• Law degree.
• Proven experience in advising clients on data and technology matters.
• In-depth knowledge of data protection laws in the Middle East and GDPR.
• Prior experience advising regulatory bodies on data policy is preferable.
• Strong ability to work in the Middle East and with global clients.
• Relevant data privacy qualifications (e.g., CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT).
• Proven experience in advising clients on data and technology matters.
• In-depth knowledge of data protection laws in the Middle East and GDPR.
