Data Science Manager

Job description / Role

Quest Search and Selection is working with one of leading business conglomerates in the Middle East, looking for a brilliant Data Science Manager to join their team in Dubai. You will contribute to the business through delivering analytics and business intelligence that are vital to the company’s success.

As a Data Science Manager, you will:

- Lead data governance and data science roadmap creation across the business
- Develop and maintain advanced modelling technologies, new insights and data science capabilities
- Support leadership decisions by providing updated and timely analytics for all assigned business units
- Discover new opportunities through data deep dives
- Recommend/ test product and process optimizations
- Lead and manage a team of data scientists and engineers

Requirements

- MS or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, or similar field
- At least 5 years’ experience as a Data Scientist in similar capacity
- Solid background in generating data-based insights, building and implementing statistical models, manipulating data sets, statistical concepts, data visualization, and creating data architectures
- Senior level verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
