Data Scientist

Job description / Role

- Utilize advanced statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to analyze and interpret complex data sets.
- Develop and implement predictive models and algorithms to solve business problems and drive data-driven decision making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data science initiatives and deliver actionable insights.
- Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and validate models, and interpret and communicate results to stakeholders.
- Clean and preprocess large datasets to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Build and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines and infrastructure to support data science workflows.
- Create visually compelling and intuitive data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of data science best practices and standards within the organization.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively to solve complex business problems.
- Master's in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
- In-depth knowledge of statistical modeling techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data mining techniques.
- Experience working with large and complex datasets, and the ability to clean, preprocess, and analyze data using SQL or other query languages.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
