Data Statistical Analyst/ Manager - 6 Months Contract

Job description / Role

• Directing the execution of multiple medium to large analytic projects along with rest of the stakeholders in the Client analytics team
• Collaborating with the core Data Scientist group in Client to fully understand business requirements and desired business outcomes
• Defining detailed analytic scope and methodology, and creating analytic plan
• Executing on the analytic plan with appropriate data mining and analytic techniques
• Performing QA on data and deliverables by analysts and own deliverables
• Ensuring all project documentation is up to date and all projects are reviewed per analytic plan
• Ensuring project delivery within timelines and budget requirements
• Building on team’s analytical skills and business knowledge
• Enhancing existing analytic techniques by promoting new methodology and best practices in analytics field

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of analytical expertise in applying statistical solutions to business problems
• At least three years’ experience managing project and programs end to end
• Post Graduate degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in Quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Operational Research, Computer Science, Economics, or engineering or equivalent experience
• Understanding of Payments and Banking Industry including Consumer Credit, Consumer debit, Prepaid, Small Business, Commercial, Co-Brand and Merchant
• Experience building and cultivating teams
• Experience planning, organizing, and managing multiple large projects with diverse cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated ability to incorporate new techniques to solve business problems
• Demonstrated resource planning and delivery skills
