Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Data Strategy & Consulting Manager for one of our partners, a global leader in the IT services and IT consulting.

Job summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Consultant/Lead to join our Data Strategy and Consulting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data strategy, data governance, and analytics, with the ability to drive data-driven decision-making processes within organizations. This role involves leading complex projects, working closely with clients to develop and implement data strategies.

Responsibilities:

Data strategy development:

• Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive data strategies that align with clients' business objectives.
• Conduct assessments of current data capabilities and provide actionable insights to enhance data-driven decision-making.
• Develop roadmaps for data management, analytics, and governance initiatives.

Data governance:

• Establish and implement data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
• Define and enforce data standards, policies, and procedures across the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with data regulations and industry standards.

Client consulting:

• Work closely with clients to understand their data challenges and provide tailored consulting solutions.
• Conduct workshops, training sessions, and presentations to educate clients on data governance best practices.
• Lead client engagements, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver high-quality consulting services.

Project management:

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Lead and coordinate with internal teams to ensure project deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.

Thought leadership:

• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, upcoming regional and global data regulations, and best practices in data management and governance.
• Lead and mentor team of consultants and analysts and effectively enable them to grow.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or any data related field.
• 9+ years of experience in data management, data governance, or related roles.
• Proven track record of successfully leading data strategy and governance projects for large organizations.
• Comprehensive knowledge of DAMA or NDMO.
• Experience in consulting and client management is highly desirable.
• Being an Arabic speaker is a must.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of data governance principles, frameworks, and tools.
• Proficiency in data management and analytics platforms (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent bilingual verbal/written communication skills (Arabic and English).
• Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

• Certifications in data governance (e.g., DAMA, CIMP).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, KSA Personal Data Protection Law) and their impact on data governance.
