Job description / Role
Administrate IT infrastructure components monitoring to ensure the proactive monitoring of critical Systems.
• Administration of entire HP (Micro focus) Enterprise Monitoring Platform
• Installation & Configuration of HP EMS Components-OMI, OMW, UCMDB, OBR, CO, Sis, NNMI
• HP uCMDB – Discovery of CI and Configuration of Views and reports
• HP OMI and BSM Platform management, maintenance and Integrations
• Monitoring Dashboards Creation and Management
• Configuration and Customization of TBEC rules ,Views & Reports, Business Services
• HP uCMDB – Discovery of CI and Configuration of Views and reports
• Deploy and configure monitoring agents and policies on all production servers, Databases etc.
• Ensure the Vulnerability assessment and remediation support in HP EMS Platform
• Work with various IT infrastructure and business teams to deliver Monitoring requirements
• Architectures and Documents updates related to HP EMS platform and components
• Micro focus Vendor coordination and follow-up until HP EMS support issue resolutions
• Good Work Experience in Server Platforms - Windows Servers, Linux, UNIX, AIX etc.
• Experience in Infrastructure Components – SQL and Oracle DB, Network and Storage Devises.
• Integration with OMI & HP EMS Components – HP Diagnostics, Sis, OBR, UCMDB, NNMI etc.
• Management Pack and SPI setup and Configuration for Citrix, WebLogic, WebSphere etc.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree on Information technology or Computer science
• 8+ Years of experience in IT infrastructure
• Provide support to the SIT/UAT process and production roll-out
• Monitor and Reviews Capacity planning reports
• Deliver to a standard of fast resolution of problems, demonstrated by a service-orientated mindset throughout the team
• Coordinate with system analyst IT teams for project delivery
• Support with the communication of project status and issues
• Undertake similar or related tasks or duties as directed by senior management
