Job description / Role

Oversee the Enterprise Architecture and integration of business applications such as Oracle and Oracle Finance, collaborating with the IT management team on requirements and mechanisms.

A prominent organisation in Abu Dhabi seeking professionals in Database Administration.

Description
* You will be responsible for the database administration and management (Oracle R12 Database) ensuring performance, security, and availability.
* Lead the development of databases, focusing particularly on their reporting capacity and disaster recovery.
* Manage the integrations between all IT systems Support tools, content, and technologies, roles, users, security, internal system notifications and other technology user accounts.
* Build database API integration tools, data models, datasets, database views, BI reporting dashboard tools (Argos, Tableau etc).
* Conduct workshops and end-user training for the support tools and technologies based on business requirements.
* Manage the development of a data warehouse, ensuring its availability and reliability to appropriately structure.

Requirements

* A minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle EBS R12 database or Banner SIS Oracle Database and Systems Architecture.
* Hands-on experience working with BI reporting tools such as PowerBI or Argos.
* Experience with Database backup / Restores part of Disaster recovery activities and Quarterly restore tests.
* Expertise with setting up Oracle DR replication of Oracle databases utilizing Oracle DataGuard or other equivalent solutions from Oracle.
* Experience in data warehouse for BI analytics.
* Strong working and integration experience with other systems, preferably Education systems.
* SDLC exposure with experience with SQL/PLSQL scripting, JAVA coding and development tools.
* Analytical, detail oriented and possesses strong statistical skills.
