Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Execute money market, foreign exchange, fixed income or derivate deals. Assist the Head of Treasury department in developing the bank’s treasury plans and strategies, determining interest rate characteristics of assets and liabilities. Assist in preparing documents for the Asset & Liability Committee (ALCO). Assist in managing liquidity, market risk limits and regulatory liquidity ratios.

Responsible for management of financial institutions (FI) treasury limits.

These include liaising with head office officials as and when necessary.

Manage the minimum cash balance, minimum liquid assets for reserve requirement.

Manage and monitor the bank’s funding position of all currencies and inter-bank counterparty limit.

Manage the overall liquidity with money market transactions, FX transactions and fixed income transactions and derivatives transactions.

Cover FX (spot and forwards) position arising from customers’ trades (banks and corporates).

Manage the administration of treasury investment portfolio, as well as conducting the annual
credit review.

Manage the on boarding and KYC/KYC review of treasury FI counterparties.

Comply with relevant local and head office policies, rules and regulations.

Perform relief duties for treasury activities as and when required.

Prepare periodical reports to HO or regulatory authorities.

Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Head of Treasury from time to time.

Requirements

- Relevant undergraduate degree or higher, preferably in finance or banking
- At least 3 years experiences in front office of treasury, either in money market, fixed income, foreign exchange or derivatives transactions.
- Good oral and written communication skills and PC literate.
- Experience in using Reuters Eikon, Reuters Dealing, and Bloomberg terminal.
- Understanding of treasury products and financial market.
- Experience in investment analysis.
- The candidate can do extra work in daily time, weekend or holidays that needed.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Positive attitude, proven ability to deliver multitask quality work and be decisive both collaboratively and independently.
