Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose:

- Primary responsibility of generating fee revenue by executing top-end client orders on DFM and ADX. Engaging and soliciting potential trading orders from an assigned client base.
- Business development with CBD to cross-sell brokerage services and increase client base.
- Generate new-to-bank clients for CBDFS.

Principles Accountabilities:

- Engage with existing high net-worth clients, share factual market information and research from reliable sources in order to maximize trading volumes and fee income for CBDFS.
- This is an experienced Broker who deals primarily with high net-worth clients handling typically large ticket business, with highly demanding / high frequency clients.
- The role also involves internal business development within the bank and seeking synergies and cross-sell opportunities with branches and other sales channels of the bank.
- The incumbent carries the responsibility of increasing the overall client base by sourcing new clients using personal network in the market.
- Achieve individual target and contribute to achieving the overall company targets on trading volumes, revenue and market share.
- Provide at all times a high standard of service to client throughout the interaction. Remain diligent, precise and factual in providing error free execution and post-sales service.
- Manage operational business risks effectively and act responsibly in escalating client related issues i.e. errors, omissions, insider trading etc.
- Remain up to date with the market trends to explore opportunities to maximize volume of business and profitability.
- Adhere to internal procedures and comply with ESCA regulations on brokerage and other policy guidelines.
- Ensure to comply with the audit requirements, internal and external reporting obligations etc. in line with the policy guidelines, to ensure high standards of uniformity and consistency across the company.
- The incumbent may be asked to take on additional responsibilities or projects that may be unrelated to day-to-day activities

Requirements

Qualifications:

- University graduate
- Holder of CISI certification

Experience:

- 2 + years' experience in field of brokerage with strong competencies in financial markets. UAE experience a big plus. Also general banking knowledge an additional plus.

- Good command of English and Arabic language
- Ability to understand financial matters and their market impact
- Negotiation skills
