Employment: Full Time

My client, a multinational Retail FMCG organisation is looking to hire a Demand Planning Manager to support the forecasting, planning and S&OP function of the business.

Description

The role of the Demand Planning Manager will include, but not limited to the following:

* Setup Promotional Events in JustEnough (JE) for the year
* Adjust Just Enough spikes as needed based on recent sales and/or strategic decisions
* Manage item and/or site supersedes and cannibalization
* Review forecast exceptions
* Set up New doors
* Review Programming Side-By-Side Calendar
* Prep/attend seasonal Planning meetings with brand team
* Attend consensus meetings with demand and supply
* Analyzing the demand trend & correcting the forecasting error to minimize the planning error at the chain.
* Present at corporate meetings (e.g. consensus) on FSS inventory position, key initiatives, etc…
* Drive monthly collaboration meetings with the brand and cross functional teams
* Question the activity based volume projections based on the success or failure of past activities

Replenishment Optimization 10%

* Manage Replenishment Parameters and support replenishment optimization
* Based on the analysis creates replenishment plan to manage availability.

Inventory Mgmt 20%

* Review and analyze inventory
* Perform and propose stock transfers as needed
* Review Inventory discrepancies and action
* Plan, Manage, Communicate, and Execute Returns of Goods on discontinued items, and post-holiday items
* Drive excess analysis and execution. Recommend aged out items and work with corp replen teams
* Maintain regular cadence of meeting with key stakeholders (e.g. brand teams, IS)
* Perform Sales & Inventory analysis
* Detailed review of OOS
* Place Opening Order for new doors
* Review and Analyze Counter SL, investigate as required to determine root cause and recommend solutions

Shipment Planning & Execution 10%

* Update Weekly Shipment Forecast and align with Demand Planning
* Calendarize & review with Sales Ops monthly ship plan for account

Assortment Mgmt 5%

* Communicate SRP /SKU edits, timing of disco and RTV requirements due to new season's assortment
* Ensure JE has the right SKU/Door set up

Requirements

For the role of Demand Planning Manager the ideal candidate must have the following:

* A minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Demand Forecasting and Direct Store Delivery model
* Must have experience in either FMCG or Retail sectors.
* Must have experience in setting up and leading S&OP process
* Advanced level of Excel is mandatory
* Education in Supply Chain or Logistics Management
* Candidate must be based in the UAE
