Demand Supply Planner

Job description / Role

Our client, a rapid-growing FMCG Consumers Drink company is currently looking for a highly-motivated and passionate Demand Supply Planner to be part of their team based in Dubai. Your main role is to manage demands, inventory planning, and carry over orders definition for specific departments.

As a Demand Supply Planner, your responsibilities include:
• Design and generate monthly statistical forecasting models;
• Conduct current and future forecasting analysis, ensure that processes and methods followed are based on the best practice;
• Make recommendation of inventory targets adjustments based on changes in demand and market trends;
• Prepare reports and communicate forecast and inventory measurements to the management;
• Assemble and analyze all data pertinent to create sales forecast according to different layers of analysis;
• Interact with sales, marketing and customer finance to understand demand forecast drivers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management / Supply Chain / Mathematics;
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in the same industry;
• Computer literate, able to compile and prepare reports and spreadsheets using MS Office;
• Strong numerical and analytical skills;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills;
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills
