Demand & Supply Planner - FMCG

Client is a Multinational FMCG organisation is looking for Demand & Supply Planner responsible to lead the planning & forecasting for the brands and manage the operational aspect of the replenishment across the region. The Demand & Supply Planner will also be responsible to optimize the flows & process, conduct multiple analysis and interact with stores, suppliers and the category management teams


Client, a Multinational FMCG organisation is looking for Demand & Supply Planner responsible to lead the planning & forecasting for the brands and manage the operational aspect of the replenishment across the region. The Demand & Supply Planner will also be responsible to optimize the flows & process, conduct multiple analysis and interact with stores, suppliers and the category management teams.

The role of Demand & Supply Planner will include, but not limited to the following:

Key Responsibilities

Lead the sales forecast process
* Elaborate the forecast for all regular products
* Collect and challenge sales and marketing's information for new products
* Coordinate and animate the sales forecast validation (demand review and S&OP meetings)
* Ensure the timely and complete upload of the forecast data in the ERP system
* Control that forecast valuation is in line with the Finance budget data

Optimize stock
* Based on forecast, calculate the needs and control the purchase orders accordingly
* Monitor and analyze regional stock levels
* Proactively propose and follow up on stock reduction plans
* Build up future stock levels to anticipate any corrective action
* Communicate timely to Sales and Marketing teams any important deviation Vs initial forecast (change of availability, risk of stock out, …)
* Drive the stock committee with Sales, Marketing and Finance teams

AED 17,000

Requirements

For the role of Demand & Supply Planner the ideal candidate must have the following:

* A minimum 5 years of experience in both Demand & Supply Planning.
* Must have experience in either FMCG or Retail sectors with a Multinational firm
* Education in Supply Chain or Logistics Management
* Must be an advanced excel user
* Candidate must be based in the UAE
