Join our client, a prestigious restaurant group in Dubai, as a Demi Chef de Partie specializing in bakery and pastry. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate pastry chef to work in a dynamic kitchen environment, contributing to the creation of stunning and delicious desserts and baked goods. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of baking techniques, pastry arts, and flavor profiles.

The successful candidate will work closely with the executive pastry chef and assist in daily pastry operations, bringing creativity and attention to detail in every dessert prepared.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of baked products including pastries, cakes, cookies, and breads
• Assist in the design and creation of new dessert recipes
• Monitor food stock and place orders as necessary
• Ensure all baked goods are prepared and presented to the highest standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery section
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely service and meet customer expectations
• Comply with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff when necessary

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Demi Chef de Partie - Bakery & Pastry or similar role in a bakery and pastry environment
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry arts
• Creativity and ability to create new dessert recipes
• Attention to detail and presentation
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Culinary school diploma specializing in pastry and baking is preferred

Benefits

Basic monthly salary: AED 2800 to 3600 depending on experience + 375 food allowance + 250 to 450 (service charge average) + 600 credit card tips + cash tips + free accommodation + transport + uniforms + health insurance + air ticket (once every two years) + paid leave as per UAE laws.
