Raffles International School, Dubai is looking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced secondary school deputy head from January 2026.

RIS follows the English National Curriculum and maintains a strong focus on academic achievement and pupil wellbeing. The school is judged as 'Outstanding' by British Schools Overseas, quality assured by OFSTED and very good by the Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau (KHDA).

This is a senior leadership team role working with both secondary and primary leadership teams but specifically head of secondary and principal.

Applications for this position are invited from school senior and middle leaders with the following:

• A passion for teaching and learning.
• Previous experience of senior or middle leadership in a high performing school.
• Bacheloru2019s degree plus PGCE with QTS or equivalent. Further post-graduate qualifications would be a distinct advantage.
• A portfolio of excellence, demonstrating significant impact on attainment and progress, curriculum development and engagement with the school community.
• A strong understanding of best practice in safeguarding, child protection and inclusive education.
• English as a first language.
• A commitment to creative and imaginative teaching where the progress of every learner is valued and maintained.
