Design Architect

Job description / Role

We are currently working with a highly reputable design and engineering consultancy who are looking to hire a Design Architect to join their Sharjah based team. As the Design Architect you will report to the Design Director and will oversee projects from inception through to completion.

Your main responsibility will be to manage the project team, mentor junior Architects and take full control of their hospitality, residential or commercial projects. As well as managing the team, you will incorporate your own concept designs and must be able to show strong technical competencies throughout all design phases. You should demonstrate a strong passion for Architecture and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have a minimum of 10 years’ experience, 5 of which gained in the UAE as well as extensive experience delivering projects from concept till completion. It is essential you have a bachelor’s Degree in architecture. You should also be up-to-date with the latest computer software and have a proven track record in delivering large scale projects. Experience in rendering and sketching would highly advantageous
