Design Engineer

Job description / Role

Bion Group is looking for design engineers with trailer experience.

Key Accountabilities:
- Execution of detailed design related activities for the identified design programmes in consolation with the seniors as per the planned schedule and assist in development of new components against new project / value Engg. / Standardization.
- Ensure that activities are carried out as per project plan.
- Detailing and recording of design related documents, i.e. calculation, material spec. review request; stress analysis, testing request etc.
- Prepare product drawing and technical specification sheet.
- New product development using 2D and 3D designing tools like Auto CAD and Unigraphics.
- CNC Plasma cutting machine programming in Omni CAD.
- Design and development of Fixtures and Jigs.
- Preparation of Bill of Materials.
- Creation of Part code and BOM in SAP.
- Development of special purpose and heavy duty vehicles.
- Checking & approving authority of all production drawings
- To modify drawings based on requirements and standards
- To modify the BOM based on actual consumption
- Ensure continual improvement in product quality
- Review & approval of action & resources for implementation of CAPA

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering & Diploma in Engineering
- Similar Industry / Structural Fabrication with 3 to 9 Years Experience

Technical Competencies:
- Knowledge of Material Planning
- SAP
- Analytical ability.
- Adapts easily to new concepts and responsibilities.
