Position Title: Design Engineer
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: up to 10,000 AED all inclusive depending on experience and qualifications

Job Role:
- Responsible for the timely and accurate quantity take off and review of drawings, specification, BOQ, tender addendums/clarifications and other documents as required
- Liaison with sales teams to understand the parameters of design requests & creating plans, designs and drawings using computer-aided design programs.
- Create appealing designs considering budget, client needs, functionality, government regulations and safety
- Responsible for preparing lay-out drawings, Shop drawings, Detailed Quantity take-off from approved shop drawings, developing Structural & architectural details for Hard landscaping by identification of all requirements during estimation
- Compile reports, cost estimates, photos, illustrations and models to create presentation to submit to the client
- Ensure the timely completion / review of all documents submitted by/ to the Consultant and/or Contractor
- To create and amend all plans for the site accurately, ensuring the drawings are updated on AutoCAD and distributed appropriately.
- Provide all necessary on-site direction and assist the team to issue site instructions for playgrounds, landscaping and associated items
- Ensure correctness and completeness of ‘As-Built’ drawings within division’s line of work. Preparing WIR to inspect completed works at site
- Maintain status awareness & records of projects drawings and coordinate delivery with other disciplines within project team

Requirements

Requirements:
- Open to any nationals
- Male or Female, 40 years old and below
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any relevant field
- At least 3 years relevant experience with extensive knowledge in landscaping
- Technically sound, Strategic planning skills, Analytical and extremely detail-oriented
- Good IT systems knowledge and skills including AutoCAD, 3D Max and Photoshop
- Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to adjust quickly should there be changes in work priorities
- Experience of working within budgets, targets and timescales
- Strong planning, organizing, productivity and time management skills
- Have high level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written in English
- Important note: Must be able to start immediately
