We're Hiring: Design Technician

Reports To: Head of Production

Are you a detail-oriented design professional with a passion for interiors and innovation? We’re looking for a Design Technician to join our growing team and support the design process from concept to execution. If you're creative, technically skilled, and thrive in a collaborative environment — this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare shop drawings based on client-provided sketches, drawings, or data.
• Create fabrication drawings from approved shop drawings.
• Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQ), material specifications, and quantity calculations.
• Coordinate with the fabrication team during mockup and project construction phases.
• Prepare and release dispatch and installation drawings.
• Ensure timely completion of all internal documentation as per department standards.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, Grasshopper, or similar 3D design software.
• Experience in customized based projects for design, interior and architectural based industry.
• Strong attention to detail with a naturally creative mindset.
• Passionate about interiors and design, with a practical approach to project requirements.
• Effective communication skills in English.

Qualifications:
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Design Engineer, preferably in the sheet metal industry.

Salary:
AED 5,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
