Job description / Role
- Over all Responsibility of the Design studio and management of CAD Technicians and operating resources
- Develop the Working Drawings, Specs, Tender drawings/ documents and Contract drawings/ documents for assigned projects and obtain approvals
- Estimates project(s) needs, schedules CAD Technicians for different projects
- Manage a team of Architects and CAD technicians for assigned projects
- Monitors and evaluates projects progress and takes corrective actions
- Assist the Estimating Team in the Tendering process.
- Make sure that Billing procedures and payments from client are being followed as per agreement
- Assist the Construction Supervision Team in design issues
- Performs additional assignments per Director's advice
Requirements
- Bachelor in Architecture
- Minimum 14 years experience
Soft Skills and Personality traits:
- Knowledge of building codes and standards
- Excellent written + verbal communication and management skills to include leadership, organization and client relationship management skills
- Must have the ability to maintain existing client relationships and build new client relationships
