Design Manager

Job description / Role

Objectives: To lead the design and project team of luxurious residents, offices, and retail.

Main Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of architects and interior designers with the contribution of a draftsman manager, 3d visualizer manager, procurement manager, and operation manager to report to the Project Director in managing design, project budget, schedule, and personnel requirements.
• Follow up and manage the complete design process and documentation package of multiple projects in excellence in quality of design and aesthetic appeal.
• Managing the design process using program/time/budget awareness and technical expertise.
• Ensuring design information is of the right quality and keeps pace with project timescales.
• Responsible for aid in creation of working drawings, budgeting, scheduling, specifications, planning and design on projects with authority to direct, control, and monitor all activities.
• Responsible for supervision and quality-control review of drawings, 3d visuals.
• Responsible for supervision of providing ff&e schedules of the projects and ensuring documenting required changes if necessary.
• Responsible of preparation of presentations and ensure to make changes on design, regarding to comments.
Reporting to: Project Director

Requirements

• Excellent in inter-disciplinary project coordination and management of multidisciplinary design teams (Architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, fit-out, FF&E, IT/AV, security etc.)
• Effective presentational and interpersonal skills are essential
