Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with an award-winning architectural consultancy firm based in UAE. Due to continuous growth, our client is looking to hire a Design Manager due to its expanding project portfolio.
The Design Manager will be reporting to the Directors. You will manage current projects, monitor budget, Quality and time schedules. You will provide leadership to the design teams enabling them to execute design services efficiently whilst participating in the planning and design of complex projects across the UAE.
The incumbent will also manage the client’s design request and establish project objectives, liaising with the design teams and making sure budgets are maintained. Additionally, you will evaluate sub-consultant and tenders and oversee the execution of the projects as well as ensure the quality of the work is consistently upheld.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, the candidate should have a BA or MSc in architecture, preferably with a project management qualification (PMP or LEED). You should have at least 10 years of experience, in the UAE or GCC region.
As the main point of contact for clients, it’s essential you have excellent communication skills. Extensive knowledge in all stages of the design and the ability to coordinate engineering services are crucial.
