Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The designer is the significant contributor to our growing business, they are creative, innovative and passionate about using their own ideas to improve our online portal. Your work will help drive subscriber engagement and gain the attention from our prospective business partners.

Other responsibilities include:
Ensure that all artwork and writing on our site is compelling, engaging and more over conveys the Groupon voice
Be able to field last minute edits and as as Groupons final Editorial backstop
Contribute ideas and design artwork to the overall brief
Conduct picture research for features
Prepare layout and features with sourced images
Make the decisions on how best to digitally optimize and present text and images on the website

Requirements

Excellent design track recordĀ 
Team player with a strong ability to influence and interact at all levels, using both written and verbal communication
Good organizational skillsĀ 
Clear understanding of the market and its competitors
Creative, bright, entrepreneurial self-starter
Can multi-task and has the ability to implement strategy and translate vision
Ability to build on success and possess strategic and innovative thinking
Understanding of the business model
Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
Proactive, can-do attitude
Working to tight deadlines
High attention to detail
Proficient in using PC / MAC packages
