The marketing manger will work closely with the Marketing Director, the Marketing Manager is the brand guardian for Yas Island and Farah with responsibility for the implementation and execution of the marketing strategy across various disciplines and to key markets to achieve (and surpass) objectives and targets.

He/ She has to target the right audience, at the right time with the right message and generate ideas and opportunities aligned to the marketing strategy and brand guidelines to develop destination messaging and see them through to completion. The Marketing Manager will grant close collaboration with digital, CRM, PR & social media, sales and internal departments, Farah assets and events, DMD and visitor centre, ensure integration, consistency and approval across activity and campaigns. Delivers smooth and efficient operations in the Marketing Department with regards to budget management and ROI.

• Drive awareness, familiarity for Farah through idea generation and execution of the marketing strategy across all areas of the marketing mix – from sales to advertising, promotions to events, digital to CRM, and access assets.
• Be the brand guardian for all materials across all communications, ensuring compliancy and consistency.
• Proof-reading all copy to ensure messaging is of the highest quality.
• Manage the relationships with relevant agencies and multiple assets, in particular digital, creative, research and media, ensuring the best management of marketing spend and taking the plan through to effective delivery to drive visitor numbers.
• Be a leading proponent of the CRM programme and database.
• Compile regular reports of marketing activity, detailing volume targets and visitor profile against marketing spend by discipline and identify key learnings, sharing best practice and making recommendations to the marketing plan as required.
• Devise and implement initiatives to drive new audiences and customer development.
• Devise and implement initiatives to increase multi-assets visitation on Yas Island.
• Identify and work with brand-aligned partners to tap into new markets.
• Oversee collateral and communications
• Performs other miscellaneous support functions as required.

Requirements

As an ideal candidate you should have:
• Be educated to degree level or equivalent in business, marketing or equivalent
• Have agency management
• Be a strong communicator
• Have experience in Media planning and buying
• Be comfortable deciphering, analyzing and reporting on number
• Have excellent presenting skills
• Be proficienct in writing, speaking, and understanding the English language.
• Have strong organizational skills and highly deadline driven.
• Have a strong eye for detail and good proof-reading
• Have good working knowledge of MS Office and media software packages.
• Be able to cope in a busy and challenging environment and work to fast deadlines
• Be resourceful, proactive, innovative thinker.
• Be commercially astute with strong budget management and forecasting abilities.
• Be a natural team leader with a confident, assertive but approachable personality.
• Have minimum 5 year’s previous marketing experience, across the relevant marketing disciplines ideally; advertising, promotions, project management, online, research and analysis. Experience in a similar field (theme parks, entertainment, hospitality, entertainment) is ideal.
• Have strong experience managing agencies
• Have previous project management experience
• Have digital marketing experience
