Job description / Role
Job Purpose: The job holder will lead and manage all aspects of the development and project management functions of ENI. This role will act as an advisor to the Executive Management in diversifying and expanding ENI’s portfolio locally and internationally.
She/he will be responsible for the Day to Day Operations, Business Strategy & Planning, Financial Budgets, Owners Representation (at all stages of design and construction), Risk Management and Reporting. Full engagement with all relevant internal and external stakeholders including local authorities, consultancies and contractors is expected.
Main Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To:
- Develop business plans and opportunities that support the development of the department, within its limits of financial and operational guidelines.
- Lead and develop the Development and Projects team to establish and manage the strategy for the department whilst improving the quality of services.
- Create and propose efficient financial structures in consultation with the executive management.
- Manage and control risk elements associated with the development and projects.
- Ensure proper implementation of mitigation plans as per the risk matrix outcomes.
- Review the development / project life cycle from initiation, planning, design, construction, handover and DLP.
- Manage on-going changing legislative requirements to ensure the department is proactive in identifying opportunities for positive change.
- Responsible to ensure seamless communication and procedures are followed to effectively manage Development related processes.
- Drive performance through the selection of appropriate KPI’s, ensuring these are analyzed and followed up.
- Supervise the preparation of timely and accurate departmental status reports to meet the department requirements, policies, and standards.
- Develop and inculcate a best practice corporate governance ethos.
- Any additional responsibilities as assigned by the executive management.
Requirements
- Masters in a relevant discipline is highly preferred or a Bachelors Degree in engineering.
- A minimum 15 years of regional development management experience, with at least 5 years of experience heading the department.
- Proven track record in project management, managing multi billion projects.
- Solid financial/analytics/reporting background in dealing with complex projects.
- Strong knowledge and exposure of the GCC real estate market with large master developers.
- Strong understanding of delivery and commercial activities through the different phases of asset development.
