Development Manager (Industrial Parks)

Job description / Role

Our Multi National Project Management Consultancy client has a new requirement for a well experienced Development Manager to join their team in Abu Dhabi, UAE to lead strategic planning and execution of key industrial and logistics park development projects, focusing on maximizing profitability and ensuring alignment with the broader strategic goals of the organization. This role demands a high level of expertise in managing complex industrial and logistic park development projects and leading cross-functional teams

This role is available for immediate joining and is a direct hire, permanent placement with our client.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Development Oversight: Lead the planning and execution of major industrial and logistics development projects, overseeing all phases from feasibility studies through to completion.
Financial Strategy and Management: Develop and oversee financial strategies for development projects, including budgeting, funding, and financial forecasting.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all development projects comply with local, regional, and national regulations and laws.
Client and Partner Relations: Build and maintain relationships with key clients and business partners to ensure alignment of project goals with business and client needs.
Scope of Work (RFP), Procurement, and Consultant Management:
Develop comprehensive RFP documents for the engagement of consultants across various disciplines. Ensure clarity in project specifications, expectations, and outcomes.
Lead the procurement and consultant selection processes, ensuring a rigorous evaluation based on expertise, experience, and value.
Manage consultant relationships, overseeing deliverable quality, timeline adherence, payment processes, and effective change management.

Development Management Experience:

Minimum of 10 years in development management, with extensive experience managing complex industrial and logistics projects in a leadership role.
Industry: Deep understanding of the real estate development sector, particularly in industrial and logistics park projects.
Education: Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred, along with professional certifications relevant to the real estate and construction industry.
Superior strategic planning and management skills.
Expertise in financial analysis and project management / project delivery.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to lead in a high-stakes environment with multiple, competing priorities.

Salary:
AED 40,000 to 55,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
