DevOps Automation Engineer

Job description / Role

Quest Search and Selection is working with a progressive technology company in the Middle East seeking for a DevOps Automation Engineer to join their team in Dubai. We are ideally looking for someone with high interest in Financial Technology and an experience working in a startup or fast-moving environment.

As a DevOps Automation Engineer, you will:

- Design, configure, and maintain platform operations for cloud and bare metal deployments
- Create disaster recovery plans, conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability
- Implement automation tools and frameworks
- Analyze code and communicate detailed reviews to development teams
- Share operational requirements and development forecasts
- Work with team members to enhance engineering tools, systems and procedures, and data security

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years' as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent
- Solid technical skills in: Scripting (Python, Bash, Ruby), cloud orchestration tools, AWS, backup and recovery, database configuration
- Critical thinker and a team player
- Excellent problem solving, time management, and documentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
