DevOps Engineer

Job description / Role

• Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure.
• Continuously monitoring, updating, and creating new processes to improve throughout the entire lifecycle while minimizing wastage.
• Designing and establishing efficient development, test, release, update, and support processes to ensure effective DevOps operation.
• Maintaining, updating, and creating new processes throughout the entire lifecycle, while minimizing wastage and maximizing efficiency.
• Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services.
• Proficiency in administering and troubleshooting Linux-based infrastructure and its associated technologies.
• Knowledge of a wide range of tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services.
• Knowledge of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles.

Requirements

• Work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
• Hands-on experience in the administration of Linux and Windows based infrastructure
• Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines
• Good knowledge of Configuration Management and Deployment tools like puppet, Ansible, Chef, Terraform etc.
• Experience in cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure and GCP
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL
• Knowledge of Kubernetes
• Problem-solving attitude
• Team spirit
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
