Our newest opportunity is for a Digital Archivist, to join our award-winning team based in Abu Dhabi. The Digital Archivist will be responsible for a range of duties including updating digital materials, creating archives and metadata records as well as initiating and maintaining storage, preservation, organization, description, and access to these materials.

Responsibilities

Paramount to success within this varied role will include;

- Assisting in setting up KEO's entire digital retrieval library, this will be a virtual library and will consist of every digital record of our projects and will include photos, renderings, project controls and ICG's.
- Maintaining and storing all relevant documents to create an accessible graphic representation of all KEO projects from historical to future.
- Cataloguing the library, organize its structure, managing uploads, correctly identifying and categorizing project digital material and working with divisions to create their divisional libraries and to then maintaining.
- Providing access to archival collections by compiling finding aids, creating collection-level records or metadata descriptions and maintaining a database on collections and storage space allocation.

Requirements

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envisage that you will bring between 3 - 5 years' experience from a similar professional position as a Digital Archivist experienced within a similar industry covering Architecture, Engineering or Planning partnered with a Bachelor's degree from a relevant discipline.

- Excellent communications skills, both oral and written.
- Strong organisation, presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and competing priorities.
- The ability to work hands-on, independently and within a team in fast-paced work environment.
- The ability to solve problems and provide excellent customer service in exigent circumstances.
- An excellent understanding of Digital Archiving within large corporate environments.
- Technically sound with exceptional software related skills including Media Valet or similar archival software.
