Employment: Full Time

JOB PURPOSE: Support the Digital Marketing Manager of the company MEIA in their primary and administrative duties.

MAIN OBJECTIVES: Marketing Officer responsibilities include assisting in implementing 360 campaign marketing strategies, as well as implementing and driving always-on digital campaigns for all 3 the company Group brands.

This position will also function as primary support liaison to retail partners and Key Account Managers with regards to website audits, and digital marketing collateral access.

This work will be a critical factor for the smooth operation of the Digital Marketing department and the attainment of its goals, as well as for the long-term growth of the company.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:
• Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department’s activities.
• Support marketing executives in organizing various projects.
• Conduct market research and analyse consumer rating reports/questionnaires.
• Employ marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (social media, web analytics, rankings etc.)
• Update spread sheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information.
• Assist in the organizing of 360 digital campaigns and attend to them to ensure their success.
• Prepare presentations.
• Compose and post online content on the company’s website and social media accounts.
• Create and run always-on campaigns across various channels and media.
• Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases, etc.) to augment the company’s presence in the market.
• Finding and consolidating sales and marketing content for external and internal use.
• Communicate directly with internal stakeholders and clients, and encourage trusting relationships.
• Update the Content Management Systems.
• Assist and participate in ad hoc activities.
• Ensure deadlines are met.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 - 4 years of digital experience in the region
• Excellent communication and people skills to manage local soft skills
• Must have worked in an ecommerce start up environment or a part of a ecommerce business
• Worked in a digital marketing agency or managed digital marketing agencies closely
• Exposure to marketing automation software and online applications (CRM tools, Online analytics, Google AdWords, Criteo, DMP platforms, email marketing tools etc.) (big advantage)
• Basic working knowledge in HTML, CSS, Javascript
• Proficient in design and video editing software Exposure to web applications (CMS, Social media platform backbends) (Preferred)
• Marketing qualification (Certificate/diploma)
• Understanding of office management and marketing principles
• Demonstrable ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines
• Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach
• Proficient in market research techniques and databases
• Proficient in of MS Office
• Arabic and English speakers will have an advantage
• Exposure to communications within different Arabic cultures is an advantage
