About the job
We are searching for a team-oriented sales leader with an appetite for building and accelerating premium programmatic revenue growth. The primary focus for this role is to evangelize all programmatic assets and capabilities to develop new & valuable connections with brands and agencies, programmatically. The Digital & Programmatic Sales Director will play a crucial role in expanding the programmatic digital business by growing revenue with existing clients, as well as creating new partnerships with advertisers, brands, agencies, and agency trading desks.
• Build relationships with agency and brand decision-makers in addition to existing established pharma brand and agency relationships
• Develop and close new business and growing existing business
• Sell current and new strategic digital marketing solutions and ad products
• Develop strategies needed to help Brand Product teams and Agencies make informed decisions through a consultative sales approach
• Utilize forecasting and business analytical skills to take advantage of opportunities and to expand relationships
• Develop and pitch client proposals and opportunities
• Work closely with Sales Planning group to ensure advertising campaigns performance metrics are met/exceeded
• Offer display, video, and native inventory audience capabilities, and ad solutions to create new programmatic revenues & relationships with agencies and advertisers who control budgets across all verticals.
• Programmatic offerings as well and bringing these solutions to market to generate strategic partner/advertiser value.
• Partner with the internal direct sales team, ad ops, yield optimization, and adjacent sales team members to ensure that advertising solutions meet those needs while setting internal and external expectations
• Meet and exceed quarterly programmatic revenue goals
• Capture marketplace feedback to inform product and solution-based offering developments
• Partner closely with the direct sales team and act as a specialized solution consultant with long term advertiser clients and partners.
• 5+ years of front-line sales experience. Must be based in Dubai, UAE.
• Programmatic expertise and knowledge of the holistic ad industry
• Self-starter who will go the extra mile to help the team achieve programmatic goals
• Passion for learning, developing, leading, and winning as a team
• Extensive experience with online media sales and ad-tech
• Ability to work well with others both internally and externally
• Exceptional organizational skills, while paying close attention to detail
• Well versed in digital media and industry trends Maven
• Must be a team player and key strategist
• Prior experience in digital sales, media or ad tech; programmatic experience is required
• Broad understanding of digital sales, business development and/or strategy within the marketing industry
• Advertising sales experience selling to pharma; Internet sales preferred
• Agency experience in the planning and buying of interactive media a plus
• Superior organizational and planning skills
• Ability to earn respect from all levels both internally and externally
• Exceptional presentation and consultative sales skills
• Demonstrated track record of building durable relationships with Senior-level executives
• Outstanding writing and oral communication skills required
• Ability to effectively track sales pipelines with accuracy
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Demonstrated ability to participate and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced and successful sales environment
