Job description / Role
The job purpose is to own the end to end management and delivery of collections operation lifecycle (early, late and legal recovery), outbound operations and customer retention activities for all customer segments In order to achieve corporate financial scorecard related to bad debt and maximizing the cash flow which is monitored by the board members and shareholders.
Requirements
• Minimum Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Accounting and/or Finance.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a leading and management role.
• 6- 8 collections and legal recoveries within the telecommunications or utilities industry.
• Experienced in managing large operational teams (in-house, onshore and offshore).
• Experienced in managing relationships with external debt collection agencies, credit bureaus, legal firms and vendors.
Knowledge and skills:
• Strong understanding of accounting principles; best practices and procedures
• Strong operational management skills in a multi-cultural and multi-national environment
• Strong Communication and customer facing operations skills
• Ability to manage own work load and meet aggressive deadlines and deliverables
• Ability to interact and work with people at senior levels
• Ability to assess customers risk while employing commercial sensitivity, business acumen and good judgment.
