Primary Duties and Responsibilities

- Applies deep knowledge of disruptive trends and competitor activity to drive continuous improvement
- Establishes a strong leadership brand and inspires followership through passion, integrity, and appreciation of others
- Establishes an enterprise-wide approach to crisis management to help clients get ready to deal with a wide range of crises, including but not limited to extreme Cyber Security Incidents, Technology and or Infrastructure Failures, Other System or Facility outages, Manmade or natural disasters etc.
- Integrates leading frameworks and methodologies (e.g., readiness, response and recovery solution) into broader solutions to enable further crisis management capabilities enhancements
- Leads stakeholders through activities to build executive-level support and organizational buy-in to help enable the crisis management strategy and sustain new processes
- Delivers interactive, immersive and realistic briefings, training, exercising to develop, rehearse and test incident to incident, and crisis response capability
- Enables executive-level stakeholders to prioritize changes and decisions based on insights and key data from crisis simulation reports
- Ability to provide client with insights and solutions to respond and recover from crisis
- Is able to identify if additional response services are needed (e.g., forensic, financial, operations)
- Lead projects and provide strategic direction across the key accounts to deliver a superior client experience
- Ensures clients are aware of their responsibilities for the engagement and appropriately manages clients against these expectations
- Ability to adopt a global approach to networking, building eminence, and assembling teams to best serve clients and maximize engagement economics
- Takes control of challenging situations and diffuses escalated situations calmly by controlling own emotions and recognizing emotions in others
- Participates and leads aspects of the proposal development process; assembles a pursuit team with the necessary skillset and knowledge needed to prepare sales materials
- Conducts interviews with executive-level stakeholders and probes on critical areas confidently and in a professional manner

Requirements

Professional Knowledge and Experience

- 12+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience
- An advanced degree in the area of specialization
- A willingness to travel 50% of the time
- Business development experience
- High comfort level meeting with and presenting to CxO and Boards
- Experience managing large, complex projects with 12+ resources within a consulting environment
- Relevant Crisis Management, Crisis Communications, Continuity Management or Resilience project exposure and technical qualifications
