Charterhouse is working with a government entity who is looking to hire for a Director to focus on Maritime Sector Strategy. This is an interesting opportunity to be involved the development, implementation of strategic and operational plans in the Dubai maritime sector.
The role will involve working with senior individuals. Internally, externally and internationally to develop and coordinate a maritime strategy. The role will be to continue to develop the maritime function, achieve results, in relation to strategic and operational management, financial planning and management, administrative, management and leadership, exploring and developing strategic partnerships.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have a background in relation to the maritime sector, with experience in relation to strategy, financial planning, management and operations within the sector. This is a senior position so a good depth of expertise within the maritime sector is sought, ideally in the Middle East, or with experience of the region. Arabic language skills are advantageous. Competitive senior level remuneration and package on offer to attract a talent individual.
