Director of F&B

Job description / Role

• Drive entrepreneurial approach, ensure divisional resources are aligned to successfully implement the hotel annual growth strategy and accomplish our Purpose.
• Work with the Executive Chef and Director of Restaurants in the preparation and activation and regular review of the F&B Marketing toolkit.
• To ensure that each assigned profit center is operated in line with maximizing profit while delivering on the brand promise.
• To assist in the preparation of the Annual Business Plan for the hotel.
• To assist in the monthly forecasting, involving the respective Outlet Managers as appropriate.
• To proactively manage costs based on key performance indicators, working through the respective Outlet Managers as appropriate.
• To ensure the assigned Food and Beverage Outlets are managed in line with the original concept of each respective venue.
• Review feedback on the results of the Hysat, nBA, Trip Advisor, and other social media sites and ensure that the F&B venues are recognized by our guests both in-house and from the local community.

Requirements

• Minimum 4-5 years of prior experience in the role of Director of F & B of an F & B dominated Luxury Hotel
• Experience in concept planning and opening of the F & B venues
• Experience in managing and executing large and varied Events ( corporate and socials)
• Worked in the multicultural workforce and guest environment

About the Company

Hyatt was founded by Jay Pritzker in 1957 when he purchased the Hyatt House motel adjacent to the Los Angeles International Airport. Over the following decade, Jay Pritzker and his brother, Donald Pritzker, working together with other Pritzker family business interests, grew the company into a North American management and hotel ownership company, which became a public company in 1962. In 1968, Hyatt International was formed and subsequently became a separate public company. Hyatt Corporation and Hyatt International Corporation were taken private by the Pritzker family business interests in 1979 and 1982, respectively. On December 31, 2004, substantially all of the hospitality assets owned by Pritzker family business interests, including Hyatt Corporation and Hyatt International Corporation, were consolidated under a single entity, now Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
