Employment: Full Time

Be an ambassador for the brand and our resort as Director of Operations, where you will provide leadership and strategic support to all departments through our service culture, maximized operational excellence and guest satisfaction.

What you will be doing:

- Lead and support all departments in the achievement of their financial and operational targets through establishment of a positive culture, clear expectations and policy & procedural implementation
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Support the General Manager in the overall management and strategic direction of the hotel
- Oversee the operations / functions of the hotel
- Ensure full compliance to Hotel operating controls, SOP's, policies, procedures and service standards
- Responsibility of driving efforts to achieve/exceed the set targets for the Hotel both financial and qualitity targets
- Clearly demonstrate to guests and colleagues a commitment to service excellence through the effective implementation and delivery of Movenpick Brand Standards at all times.
- Foster a winning, solution-oriented work environment, motivating and engaging colleagues to continuously deliver the best possible service to our guests.
- Be an ambassador for the Movenpick Brand


Your experience and skills include:

- Previous experience in a senior leadership role, within a premium brand is desired
- Extensive Resort operations experience required and preferably with Rooms Background
- An Arabic Speaker will be preferred due to guest mix.
- Demonstrated knowledge of budget planning and financial controls
- University/College degree in a related discipline preferred
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
