Job description / Role
Charterhouse is pleased to be working with an innovative contracting company to assist in their search for a Director of People and Culture to join their dynamic and evolving team within their Abu Dhabi Office.
As the Director of People and Culture, you will collaborate with the CEO and stakeholders whilst working closely with the Senior HR Officer to develop the HR Strategy to drive and achieve the business goals. Your main responsibility will include process improvements in areas such as Talent Management, Retention, Performance Management, Employee Engagement and Learning & Development.
The Director of People and Culture will ensure that the organisation develops a high-performing culture by evaluating and identifying any learning needs, addressing employee engagement whilst introducing solutions and delivering behavioural as well as learning interventions.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have a Degree within HR or a similar field with a minimum of 5 years experiences working within a leadership role.
Due to the nature of the role, our client requires somebody with proficient bilingual (English & Arabic) language skills, both written and verbal. You should have a genuine passion for HR and motivation to drive and achieve organisation goals. Knowledge of UAE Labour Law is key to this role, to ensure that these are being followed.
