Director of Plant, Machinery & Vehicles (MENA)

Job description / Role

Our client are an established tier 1 construction company who have requirement for a Plant, Machinery, Vehicles Director to be based in the UAE Abu Dhabi and handle all operations in the MENA region reporting to the Vice president. This is a long term residential position.

The ideal candidate will have a background as plant engineer with a minimum of 20 years experience in civil/mechanical construction companies of which 5 years in the middle east.

Requirements

- Must have extensive experience in the repair & maintenance of all types of Cranes, Heavy Construction Equipment such as Dozers, Graders, Shovels, Excavators, Rollers, Compressors, Welding Machines, Pumps etc. and Heavy/Light transport vehicles.
- B.S. / B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering/Automobile Engineering.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to liaise at all levels
- Proactive, Goal-oriented, and accountable
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Team player and self motivated
- Strong analytical thinking
- Vehicle safety training certificates an advantage.
