Director of Sales - GCC

Lead, direct and motivate the Sales team responsible for the GCC market. Ensure the yearly segment's sales budget is achieved and surpassed. Responsibility for extending the management standards and quality guidelines set by the DOSM and to assume complete management responsibility,

in line with the hotels mission, vision and objectives. Be guiding, team oriented, democratic and empowering.

Emerald Palace Kempinski Dubai

An impressive 100,000 square meters, the Emerald Palace Kempinski Dubai comprises 347 luxuriously appointed rooms, of which 36 are exquisitely spacious suites. Surrounded by pristinely landscaped tropical gardens are eight highly appointed royal villas with stunning views of the Palm Lagoon. The hotel's wide variety of international restaurants, boutique mall and cinema provide ample dining and entertainment attractions. With its opening in 2018, the hotel's classical design will complement the Kempinski Residences and Hotel Apartments Palm Jumeirah, which has been developed in the same architectural style and is located on the adjacent plot.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

- Assist the Department Head during preparation of the yearly revenue & expense budget.
- In consultation with the Department Head, establish and direct the organization's financial, administrative activities and operational procedures to ensure the yearly revenue and expense budgets are achieved.
- Prepare and submit relevant administration in a timely and accurate manner such as sales call schedules, sales call reports, monthly reports.
- Ensure that assigned team members have sales targets and personal sales plans.
- Formulate strategies in order to run an effective assigned Sales team.
- Understand, follow and communicate the company sales vision.
- Responsible for greeting all site inspections at the Hotel.
- Possibility to attend the international fairs, road shows maintain and build strong relations during these
- Events.
- Train, develop and coach team.
- Seek out and target new customers and new sales opportunities, initiate action plan to approach and secure new business for the company.
- Provide leadership to the day-to-day operations of the assigned team, while maintaining focus on the company's strategic goals.
- Develop and / or maintain and improve business relations with all customers of the company.

Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.

Requirements

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

- Diploma in Business Administration, University Degree
- Minimum of three (3) years' international experience in a similar managerial position, ideally in a luxury 5 star hotel
- English - excellent oral and written skills
