Job description / Role
• Lead new business development efforts, including maintaining detailed pipeline of prospects and potential projects/deals through SAM’s system and external sources
• Establish and maintain industry business relationships to generate on-going deal flow
• Qualify potential investment/JV opportunities with the input of the Investment Committee
• Develop investment thesis, author investment memorandums
• Serve as a primary negotiator for approved transactions
• Lead due diligence, direct transaction execution team and coordinate transaction closing
• Work with external capital providers to gain support for investment financing
• Post-closing: interact with the management of JVs/Investments, monitor performance and report internally on regular basis
• Hire, oversee and train investment team members as appropriate
Requirements
• University Qualifications: Bachelors degree, Post Graduate degree (an advantage)
• Current Location: Sharjah, UAE
• Language Fluency: English and Arabic (an advantage)
• Nature and length of previous experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in investment management.
• Specialist knowledge: Strategy management, Investment management, and strategic initiatives
• Soft Skills and Personality Traits: Strong leadership skills
