The Role

Director of Product Management (Securecoms) is responsible for a business's product planning and execution all through the lifecycle of the business. This is inclusive of gathering and prioritizing requirements for the product, defining the vision for the product, and collaborating with other directors from the engineering, marketing, sales, and operations departments in order to ensure that the financial and consumer satisfaction goals are met. In addition to this, the Director of Product Development also ensures that the company's overall strategy and goals are supported by those of the product; that the product goals and strategy do not deviate from that of the business.

In this role, you will:

- Plan, assign and direct workloads of product managers.
- Appraise performance, rewarding and disciplining product managers.
- Be responsible for Product lifecycle management from concept to phasing out of the product(s) across all products/product lines.
- Manage the existing product lines, increasing profitability and setting of Profit and Loss goals for each product/product line.
- Establish metrics to measure effectiveness and drive improvements.
- Create of product strategy, product roadmaps and specification of product requirements.
- Maintain product and market knowledge. Analyses and keep abreast of market trends.
- Lead cross-functional teams to realize product concepts and bring them to market. Work with customers and internally to define and refine product requirements.
- Best practice research and benchmarking. Conduct competitive analysis and develop a strong understanding of stakeholders to drive development decisions.
- Develop and execution of tactical plans.
- Act as product evangelist both internally and externally.

Requirements

To bring your dream to life, you will need:

- 10 years-related experiences
- 5+ years of experience in product management
- Demonstrates tenacity, commitment to deliver and be accountable for results
- Proven track record in product development, project management, financial analysis, market research required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
