Director - Regulatory & Compliance (PKI)

The Role

As Director of Regulatory and Compliance, you will support the establishment of industry recognition and maintain industry standards compliance through relationships with applicable industry bodies, and participation in industry forums. This role is responsible to ensure compliance with PKI industry regulations, applicable Certificate Policies, Certification Practices Statements, Registration Practices Statements and internal controls through internal and external auditors. You will also assist in the establishment and definition of regulatory activities that promote the adoption and use of PKI technologies and services.

In this role, you will:

- Review Certificate Policy, Certification Practices Statements, Registration Practice Statements, and corresponding standard operating procedure documents for compliance, request updates to maintain these in accordance with changing industry standards.
- Develop and execute compliance and audit plan, while maintaining priorities for the applicable requirements.
- Accomplish compliance and audit work requirements by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, and guiding auditors.
- Ensure all required audits are completed in the appropriate time frames.

Requirements

To bring your dream to life, you'll need:

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in IT/ IS/Computer Science (Master's preferred) or demonstration of 10+ years of relevant experience in the PKI industry
- Minimum 8 years of experience at a commercial CA, with policy, audit and/or quality management responsibilities

Desired Skills:

- Extensive experience with one or more of the following industry bodies CA/Browser Forum, IGTF, IETF, FPKI and DirectTrust is essential
- Certifications like CISSP, CAP, SSCP would be an added advantage
- Good working knowledge of Networking and Security Concepts, IT Governance, Risk and Compliance and Enterprise applications is required
