Dispatcher

Job description / Role

We are seeking a motivated Dispatcher to join our team in the automotive industry in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching vehicles and drivers. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule vehicle and driver assignments based on customer orders and delivery requirements
- Maintain constant communication with drivers to monitor progress and ensure timely delivery
- Address and resolve any issues or delays in delivery, and adjust schedules as necessary
- Update and maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and vehicle availability
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize dispatch operations and improve overall efficiency

- Proven experience as a Dispatcher or in a similar role within the automotive industry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capability to effectively interact with drivers and other team members
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- Familiarity with dispatch software and systems is a plus
- Knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns in Dubai, UAE
- Commitment to upholding safety standards and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in a dynamic environment
