Dispute Partner - UK International Law Firm
Law Firm - Dubai
Need to be at least 10 PQE+
A leading and international law firm are seeking an experienced and dedicated dispute lawyer for their new office in Dubai. They have a number of high end clients who are seeking to strengthen and build upon these relationships which a senior level suitable hires.
The client is a high end leading International law firm who have a stellar reputation and profile. As such, all lawyers who wish to apply must themselves reflect this in their profile and be comfortable with working directly with government entities, international contractors and overseas construction companies.
The work that is being presented to the firm in question is some of the most high profile and visible work in the GCC. Much of the work located in the region comes from direct result of mega projects and the implementation of these contracts will have a direct impact on these other sectors.
Due to the pure nature of the market all dispute lawyers should have extensive exposure to dispute matters and procedures in the GCC. This includes all forms of dispute resolution and court proceedings.
Requirements
Candidate's wishing to apply need to be of Private Practise stock. That is not to say General Counsels and Senior of Counsel shouldn't apply, but a vast majority of the work you have done must be from a Private practise perspective. The client wants a lawyer who knows how to and is comfortable working with multiple clients.
This is a Partnership post so a book of business is not a requirement. But candidates who cannot demonstrate a level of following will be unlikely to be considered as it will raise the question on your ability to retain clients from competitors.
