Division Manager - Local Markets

Established in the Middle East region for over 40 years, this client is a well-known, international distributor of retail products, managing more than 40 instantly recognizable brands. They cover markets throughout the GCC region including Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Located in Dubai, the office is a busy environment where both English and French are the spoken languages and all functions are present including Merchandising, Marketing, Branding, HR, Finance and the Senior Management team. This also includes the owner of the company. They also have a large distribution warehouse in Dubai where all goods are received and stored.

Our client is now looking for a meticulous and diplomatic Division Manager to oversee the Regional and Domestic Sales & Marketing activities of their brand portfolio. The key purpose of the role is also to provide leadership and coordination of the above along with strategy planning and implementation in order to meet set company targets. You will drive commercial wins with both suppliers and clients and manage a portfolio of luxury European brands by acting as the eye for the Principals in the Middle East market. There is a call for new business development and you will assist by pitching for new brands, business proposals and new categories. You will also act as mentor to team members and identify skill gaps, assign workloads and assist in employee recruitment, performance analysis and retention strategy.

Requirements

Applications are invited from top performing mid-career sales leaders, with at least 10 years of experience in beauty care within distribution or retail. Candidates must have a sales and marketing background, and experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns and successful public relation efforts. We are looking for fluency in English and Arabic/French would be considered a distinct advantage. Within this role you are also expected to travel across the region frequency so those with ease to obtain visas and flexibility are encouraged to apply.
