Job description / Role
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Document Controller to work remotely and manage and oversee all project documentation related to construction activities. The Document Controller will ensure the accurate filing, distribution, and retrieval of project documents while maintaining compliance with company and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and control all incoming and outgoing project documentation.
• Maintain an organized document filing system (both physical and electronic).
• Ensure proper documentation numbering, formatting, and revisions.
• Track and monitor document revisions, approvals, and distribution.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, client requirements, and company policies.
• Support project teams by providing necessary documents and records in a timely manner.
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to maintain document accuracy and integrity.
• Prepare and maintain logs, reports, and registers related to documentation activities.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure documentation consistency and adherence to procedures.
• Train team members on document control procedures and best practices.

• Bachelor's degree or relevant diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in document control, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of document management systems and software.
• Familiarity with construction processes, contracts, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and document control software.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
