Employment: Full Time

Doorman is responsible for providing a friendly and caring welcome to all guests at the hotel entrance according to our service standards in order to ensure guest satisfaction.

Kempinski Hotel and Residences Palm Jumeirah is located on the Palm, one of Dubai's most sought-after areas, a stay here means being immersed in luxury. It offers 244 luxurious suites, villas and penthouses, situated on five sprawling acres of territory. It combines five Food and Beverage outlets, the Parisian-inspired Cinq Mondes Spa, and private beach.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

- Welcome the guests upon their arrival in a friendly and caring manner according to the Kempinski standards and opens hotel door for all incoming guests.
- Open car door for all guests coming out of a taxi or car, provide assistance with their luggage and bring it to the hotel in an efficient and timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest requests in a polite and efficient manner such as calling a taxi or giving directions, refer requests to relevant staff if needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Keep abreast on hotel products and services as well as on tourist and business traveling information that may be of any interest to our guests.
- Control the traffic ensuring that there are no vehicles blocking the hotel entrance. Hoist and lower the flags according to the hotel procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of hotel main entrance area, take corrective actions if needed.
- Any other duties, which may be assigned to them from time to time as directed by their Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

- High School Graduate or equivalent, preferably with a specialization in Hotel/Restaurant
- Previous experience working in a luxury 4 or 5 star hotel or serviced apartments environment.
- Passion for customer service, good welcoming/communication skills and good levels of written and spoken English.
- Good physical conditions, Positive and outgoing
- Has knowledge about Microsoft Office Applications
- Valet Service Application
