Draftsman

Job description / Role

We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD/Architectural Draftsman with experience in large scale project to join the design team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in preparing and reviewing architectural drawings, ensuring design accuracy, and supporting various initiatives related to the built environment.


Primary Duties:

• Develop and prepare detailed architectural drawings, layouts, and construction plans in alignment with project requirements.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, and project teams to translate concepts into precise technical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations.
• Conduct site visits when necessary to verify dimensions, gather project data, and coordinate design requirements.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback from internal teams.
• Maintain an organized library of architectural drawings, CAD files, and technical documentation.
• Identify and resolve potential design conflicts by coordinating with relevant teams.

• Architectural institute or related field is a MUST.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other drafting software.
• Strong understanding of architectural detailing, building structures, and construction methodologies.
• Knowledge of UAE building codes.

Salary:
AED 7,000 to 12,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
