Draftsman

Job description / Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman to join our dynamic construction team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and plans that support our construction projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed technical drawings and plans for construction projects using CAD software.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand design specifications and requirements.
- Review and incorporate changes made during project development to ensure drawings are up-to-date.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and company standards.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and documentation for reference and auditing purposes.
- Assist in site visits and inspections to verify drawings align with actual construction progress.

- Proven experience as a Draftsman within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work.
- Good communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and meet project deadlines.
- Degree or diploma in drafting, civil engineering, architecture, or related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of UAE building codes and regulations is a plus.
