Draftsman

Job description / Role

Guildhall is looking for Draftsman who is responsible for preparing accurate structural drawings for airport infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with design standards, aviation regulations, and project specifications. The role supports engineers by translating design concepts into detailed construction and shop drawings.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare structural drawings (GA, detailed, reinforcement, and shop drawings) for airport facilities such as terminals, runways, taxiways, aprons, and ancillary buildings
• Coordinate with structural engineers to interpret design calculations and requirements
• Revise drawings based on design changes, site conditions, and consultant comments
• Ensure drawings comply with international codes, local authorities, and airport standards
• Coordinate with architectural, MEP, and civil teams to avoid clashes
• Maintain drawing registers, revisions, and document control standards
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings upon project completion

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Structural Draftsman, preferably on airport or large infrastructure projects
• Proficient in AutoCAD (Revit experience is an advantage)
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete and steel structures
• Familiar with international standards (ACI, BS, Eurocodes)
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and coordinate with multiple disciplines
