Draftsman – Interior Fit-Out (Shop Drawings)

Job description / Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Draftsman specializing in interior fit-out shop drawings to join our dynamic team in Dubai.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed shop drawings for interior fit-out projects, including layouts, elevations, sections, and detail drawings.
- Collaborate closely with architects, interior designers, engineers, and project managers to ensure design intent is accurately conveyed.
- Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings to produce accurate and complete documentation.
- Coordinate with procurement and site teams to ensure drawings are aligned with project requirements and materials.
- Ensure all shop drawings comply with industry standards, project specifications, and local regulations.
- Make revisions to drawings based on feedback from design and construction teams.
- Maintain organized records of drawings and document revisions for project tracking.
- Coordinate with project engineers, site teams, and designers to ensure drawings meet project requirements.

- Minimum 4 years experience as a Draftsman specializing in interior fit-out shop drawings, preferably within maintenance projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other CAD software relevant to interior fit-out drafting.
- Strong understanding of interior fit-out materials, finishes, and construction techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Knowledge of local construction codes and standards in the UAE is a plus.
- Excellent understanding of fit-out details (ceilings, partitions, joinery, flooring, etc.).
- Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Immediately available candidates preferred.
